The famous singer known only by one name....Elvis, “Presley” was rarely mentioned. Everyone knows who you mean......and almost everyone instantly says “The King of Rock n Roll”.
But Elvis did not reign as the King for long enough.....and since his premature passing, the world has seen many men don a jumpsuit...Curl their top lip, swivel their snake hips...and then fail to impress.
Let’s face it, you need a very big man to follow Elvis Aaron Presley; and Paul Francis Thorpe certainly IS a very big man! Standing at an impressive 6ft 5ins, ladies would describe him as a “Hunk of Burning Love” and it would take a brave man to step on his Blue Suede shoes!
Paul’s show is not tongue in cheek. There is no silly wig or stick-on sideburns and definitely no big fat belly squeezed into a Kwik-fit-fitters white boiler suit.
Oh no, Paul entertains from the curtain to the encore. None of the obscure songs and all of the greatest hits we all remember....delivered with style and watched in awe.
Elvis IS dead and he isn't down our chip shop .... But if you still love him don’t miss this show!
